HERS and Third Party Quality Control Certification

Starting in Spring 2006, CBPCA offers training and certification to installers and raters interesting in improving their Title 24 compliance practices. Training focuses on Title 24 rules and procedures along with the use of diagnostic equipment and the Enalasys data collection and reporting package. This training is applicable to equipment installers working in both the new construction and retrofit markets.

The Third Party Quality Control certification is unique in that it the only one in California that stresses the “systems approach” to installations and carries the benefit of requiring just 1 in 30 jobs to be independently verified. CBPCA also trains traditional HERS raters to perform those independent verifications. READ more about HERS link to HERS section
