The CBPCA is in the forefront of all major initiatives aimed at improving the health and efficiency in California homes.

Ongoing Programs

Home Performance Training & Outreach

CBPCA manages utility-funded training and outreach programs throughout California. In Southern California, CBPCA trains and mentors prospective home performance contractors and performs public outreach in the Southern California Edison service territory. The aim of this program is to train and support 80 contracting firms in the practice of home performance contracting.

In Northern and Central California, CBPCA conducts Home Performance Diagnosis and Remediation training at the Energy Training Center in Stockton in conjunction with Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
